You gotta think about life Correctly before it makes sense.

These people are extras in the movie of life, so they don't need particularly unique lives, they're just background for the stories focused on the Main Stars. Think about it, snow flakes don't need to all be unique, only the ones that people look at to see if they're unique do, and all you need to do to achieve that effect is to spread the identicals around, saves the people or person in charge from thinking up all these different stories and backgrounds, just take a few thousand indentical back sotries, spread them liberally all over the place and suddenly everyone looks unique and one of a kind.

Most people have non-unique lives like this, twins that have been seperated at birth more so becasue they begin life as non-unique, all they need added is the distance and bob's your uncle, identical pets, wives, families and personalities.

But reality TV has broken that all down, now anyone can become a big star, rather than waiting for divine providence to give you the leading role, all you've gotta do is get rid of all your copies and the blockbuster movie of life will revolve around you.
