Abominable Infants

Undead zombie babies.

One of the stable unnatural phenomenon produced by Mother Theresa sacrificing her newborns to raise the dead has been to create zombie babies (as Thanatomancy spell The Binding, but with a 9 month delay). Four abominable infants have been brought into existence through her magick alone.

The abomination tracks down and haunts whoever received its stolen chance at life, and always feels his. At first it just wants to ask the target "Why?" but the worse the reaction it gets (and who reacts well to a soulless undead baby dragging its umbilical cord into your life), the larger the grudge it holds against the person who benefited from his death. The abominations are minor proxies of their target and have the ability to crawl up into a woman's womb (treat as a significant unnatural phenomenon) and coerce her to follow it's mental instructions by jabbing at internal organs.

Unlike normal zombies, these undead babies cannot be permanently destroyed until the target dies. If damaged or killed, the baby will steal 1 wound point per month from the target of the spell until it has its full 9 wound points back; they only stay dead for a week. If completely destroyed (dissolved in acid, reduced to ash, etc.), they will reappear in the target's area after 9 months. The first of the Theresa's infants has been shot and cremated so far. Rumor has it, it's hunting the Freak.

Abominable infants can cause one minor unnatural phenomenon each day, and one significant unnatural phenomenon each week. They can also automatically inflict minor proxy effects on their target once an hour.
