One of the Cecilines failed treatments
Ten years ago, a six year old girl was taken away by a group of Cecilites from her village in an African country (no one can remember which one). She had been considered a witch, due to her tendency to cause unnatural phenomena, and the Cecilines knew the only way to cure her sinful ways was to bring her back to the faith. She was raised by a shadowy group of monks in the Pyrennies who called themselves the Flaggelants, who practiced a form of self-punishment, lashing themselves over the back constantly to atone for their sins. They treated the young girl with compassion and cruelty, until she became one of them. She was called Virginia.
Virginia grew to know that the only way to god was through pain, and through self-torture. She became obsessed with it, terribly so. In the whippings she felt the warmth of Christ. She was so fevoured in her faith, that the Cecilites considered her a success. The evil of magick had been beaten out of her, and she was one of Gods flock now.
They were wrong.
Unbeknownst to all, her natural predeliction for magick at a young age had been transformed into a form of Epideromancy, twisted by Catholic dogma. She whipped herself to bleeding every day, doing terrible damage, and slowly gained more and more minor charges. Over the course of years, she has become a veritable powerhouse, with hundreds upon hundreds of minor charges, and dozens of significant ones. She didn't even know she was what she was.
Until he came. Some said he just appeared one day, walking out of the secret depository of occult knowledge underneath the Vatican. Some say that the Pope hasn't got Parkinson's at all, but after a secret meeting with this fine fellow he might as well have it. Whatever the truth is, he was called the Inquisitor.
The Flaggelants recieved word of his coming. They were shocked. The Inquisitor had sent forward an instruction. They were to perform a female circumcision on Virginia. The reason was not important, God was willing that it be done. The attempt was disastrous. The monks attempted to chain Virginia up while she was asleep, and then perform the operation. When they did so, however, Virginia saw what they planned to do. And then all the Flaggelants died.
The Inquistor and several horrified Cecilines found the twisted, deformed bodies of the Flaggelants a few days later. Virginia was gone. The Order of St Cecil had her excommunicated, and she was declared a heretic.
She wanders Europe now, trying to evade the Cecilite hit squads, and the dread Inquisitor himself. She moves through the European occult underground now, preaching her new gospel of the Holy Flesh. She has followers now, but not enough to fight off the Cecilites. Yet.

I love it!!!!
I like her. She'd make an interesting person to stumble across, and that's what counts in the Duke section.

I'd like to see what would happen if she ended up in the House of Renunciation...
